Unraveling these cases, with no direction or resources, is the only way to redeem himself from his latest cockup, and maybe make it to his pension.

Unfortunately for Black Jack, there is evidence of more than murder that he can’t unsee at Area 51 including UAPs and what happened at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.
