5* review for Stories of Forbidden Love
“Snow” is a collection of sixteen short stories by different authors. The theme is about forbidden love, and each story takes place in a cabin in the snow. That might seem to box in what can be written, but there is a great deal of variety in the stories, and a little something for everyone. Forbidden love is complicated and can have unexpected or even dangerous consequences. The story “Whiteout”, by Sarah Benson, starts with a frightening mystery where everyone is a suspect, and yet relationships and love make the difference in the end. As we learn about and identify with the characters in these stories, we learn about choices and consequences – and we come to learn about ourselves as well. I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of this book, then I purchased it to have on my smart phone."
