 Billie Vee is a Greek / British award-winning actress and screenwriter based in London. Born in Athens, Greece under the name Vasiliki Vlachou, Billie studied theatre at the University of Athens and the Art Theatre Drama School (Theatro Technis Karolos Koun).

Billie has been nominated for Best Actor in Hamilton Film Festival and St Albans Film Festival for her roles in the short films 'Testing Greta' and 'Two Persons Max'. 

She recently wrote and starred in the comedy web series 'Sins of Solitude' which is on the British Comedy Guide. She will also be seen in the feature film 'Café Mirage' directed by Neilson Black and is currently preparing for her role in 'Sparrow's Call' a feature film to be directed by Tim Kent.

I love killing people. It is probably the most fun I have had in my entire life. The only thing I regret is not having discovered this morsel about myself years ago.

     

Of course, by "killing people", I mean in my novels. I have had the pleasure of my friends and family eagerly volunteering to be the next person ripped apart by what they still seem to believe are zombies (I keep telling them otherwise, but who listens to me? I'm just the author!). I do have a rule against inserting direct (or close) family members in my writing, but I have absolutely no qualms plotting your painful and often gruesome death otherwise. 

     

I have wanted to be an author for as long as I can remember. When asked in kindergarten what I wanted to be when I grew up, I immediately responded with, "A mommy!" When I was informed that this is not "a real job" (It bloody well is!) and was instructed to choose something that pays, I decided upon the next best thing in my mind; an author.

     It does not pay as much as my kindergarten teacher led me to believe.

     

However, becoming an author was less about the money for me than it was about finally seeing my name in print. I would like to say that it was a humbling experience, but that would be a lie. It was awesome and satisfying in a way I am still having difficulty properly expressing. Seeing my name on the cover of a book is also something I fully intend on doing more several times as I continue on my writing journey.
