My son Stephen and his story!
Yo what is good my kind visitor?
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page below.
You’ve come this far, not much further to go just let me tell you why
you are making the right decision!
The Freedom Trail is a four-day trek, not the 2.5-mile-long path through downtown Boston, expressing uniqueness in that it commemorates one of the several secret escape routes over the central Pyrenees into northern Spain during the Second World War. A route taken by hundreds of Frenchmen and Jews fleeing from their German oppressor reaching 2522m in height. It is an incredibly demanding trail crossing through the Mediterranean coast at Marseilles to the Atlantic coast near Bayonne only to fall at the base of a high mountain route into Spain.
My close friends will know that I am not the most physically active person nor do I find comfort in playing a lot of sports; however what I do actively pursue is a passion for human rights, social justice and equality. Taking part in The Freedom Trail has allowed me to raise money for those refugees who are facing prejudice, not just from European Governments but the general public, ill living conditions and subjected to inexcusable behaviour from military and police officials when met at European boarders. Although I am merely raising money, and not subject to the ill treatment, I will do what it takes to improve and raise awareness that situations like we see today are severe and the individuals involved need all the support we can give.
So please of you can donate, click the link below. Thank you.
