Matt leads an ordinary life, working at a bank in London with his best friend Bully.
He whiles away the hours at his job fantasising about the soap star, Abbey Jones, and can't believe his luck when she arrives at his branch to make a cash withdrawal. However, during this once-in-a-lifetime moment, Matt makes a fool of himself and Abbey is somewhat abrupt.
Following a stream of events and another chance encounter, Matt and Abbey begin to develop feelings for one another. Yet, after all of the years spent yearning for Abbey, Matt doesn't feel that an ordinary man like him can sustain a relationship with someone so famous...
