In a remote Colorado ranching community next to the Sawatch Range, Jackie Jackson is building her modern cutting horse training facility. It isn’t in her make-up to turn down anyone needing help, especially another woman. Unbeknownst to her rancher cousin and the town of Cold Springs, she provides women with a place of sanctuary, temporarily on his ranch.
But, when a Texas abused women’s organization is burglarized and records stolen their tranquil is shattered. To add to the chaos a powerful legislator starts looking for his wayward daughter, and eventually the law steps in.
