Jessica Martin
It’s Friday. Who’s happy about that? I’m sure many of you are, unless you’re working over the weekend.
Anyway, I hope your week has been a good one. I’ve had a busy one, not only with meetings about the new children’s book I’m writing, writing my new fiction book, plus chats with the production companies for the movie of Wrong Place Wrong Time, I’ve also had two events in London this week.
One of them was a book launch for author, actress, singer, impressionist and illustrator, Jessica Martin. How multi talented is Jessica. WOW!
Jessica is a ‘seasoned’ multi-faceted entertainer with a thirty-year career performing in theatre, comedy, television and radio. She has gone from teenage jazz singer, to television impressionist (in the days when light entertainment was at its Saturday night best!), to cult Doctor Who guest star, leading West End musical theatre actress and now, in the last four years, a comic creator and published graphic novelist.
The launch for Jessica’s new book, LIFE DRAWING – A Life Under Lights was at a very cool venue called, The Cartoon Museum.
The event that was well attended, with drinks and canopies for the invited guests for this private gathering, listened to Jessica talk about the book, how it all came about, and with some of her very impressive drawings on show for everybody to enjoy.
Of course as the evening progressed, Jessica was busy signing copies of her book for the many excited guests, and if you wish to know more about Jessica’s work, then visit https://jessicamartinofficial.com/
