Graystings
by Michelle Cobbett
Elise Blount has lost her husband and is now on the verge of losing her home. An invitation to an interview comes out of the blue, it looks like the job is made for her and is the answer to her prayers.
The night before the interview Elise finds out her deceased husband has been using her as a tool to get at her parents and has a child with another woman.
Setting out for the interview she has no idea that she is stepping out of her own world into a world where myths and monsters exist.
Graystings is an odd castle, set into a mountain in Scotland. It is the home and office of Rad Frumo of Dracini’s Enterprises PLC, a world leader in the study of diseases of the blood.
Graystings is frightening enough but when one of the other interviewees gets killed apparently by a dog, Elise tries to escape only to find herself dragged back into a nest of Vampires.
Rad Frumo is Radu Frumos the brother of Vlad Tepes Dracula himself. Elise finds out she is the reincarnation of his wife Sophia whom Radu killed some five-hundred years before because he suspected an affair between her and his brother.
Will Radu win his wife back?
Will Vlad come in between the couple again?
Just what part did her biological parents play in all of this?
