Three Book Box Set Of Kids Court
by Caron Pescatore

Book One - The Doll Dilemma
When Luanna overhears Jenny accusing her brother of beheading her beloved doll, she decides the best way to help the siblings settle their argument is to have a trial to solve the mystery of what really happened.

With the help of a few friends, the kids' court is quickly started, complete with lawyers, a judge, bailiff, court reporter, and even private investigators. Believing in Jimmy's innocence, Luanna readily agrees to be his defense lawyer. But as the trial plays out and the mountain of evidence against Jimmy continues to grow, Luanna begins to wonder, is her client as innocent as he claims he is?
Book Two - The Go-KartAstrophe
Greg accuses his best friend, Declan, of crashing his go-cart and demands he pays to fix it; Declan insists the accident wasn't his fault. When the boys end up in the kids' court, Luanna comes to the defense again. She believes Declan's claim of innocence, but how can she convince the court he wasn't the cause of the accident when he was driving the go-cart at the time of the crash?
Book Three - Goodbye Goody Bag
Eleven-year-old Luanna Porcello and best pal, Phoebe Chen, are having a great time at a birthday party, but their fun ends abruptly when Kelly Taylor raises the alarm over her missing goody bag. Kelly is convinced the treat has been stolen, and that Rachel Sorenson is the thieving culprit, but Rachel insists she’s innocent. Intent on proving Rachel’s guilt, Kelly takes her case to the Kids’ Court.

Rachel is having a horrible summer. She’s had to give up her home, her school, and her friends, and move half-way across the country to live with her grandmother. Rachel is desperate to make new friends, but when she attends a birthday party and is accused of stealing another girl’s goody bag, she knows that will never happen. Doubtful she can get a fair trial but realizing this may be her only chance to clear her name, Rachel reluctantly agrees to allow the Kids’ Court to handle the case.

Once again Luanna comes to the defense, but as she prepares Rachel’s case, Luanna wonders, how do you defend someone you think might be guilty?
